HSG System Dynamics Group

The HSG System Dynamics Group (SDG) is a group of researchers of the Institute of Management at the University of St. Gallen who are dedicated to the modeling and simulation of complex systems.

The HSG System Dynamics Group (SDG) is based on research and teaching activities which already started in the mid-eighties.System Dynamics is different from other approaches to the analysis of complex phenomena in that it applies feedback structures to uncover a system's inherent non-linearities. Thereby, the elicitation and simulation of time delays as well as probabilistic functions are fundamental.
